In my Life

Well, John is finished in clay and merely awaits his own personal journey to the foundry.

It’s been a journey for me as well and I’ve often thought back to events in both my and John’s life that, for him, lead to his tragic departure from us – reminiscent perhaps of the lines from his song ‘In my Life’ which go…

Though I know I’ll never lose affection,

For people and things that went before,

I know I’ll often stop and think about them,

In my life I love you more.

I hope I’ve captured some of the sadness and wistfulness of John in my sculpture and hope also that it reflects your own memories of him and how he still forms very much part of our present through his music.
